In this course, you will:
- Practice the skills of physical observation
and examination.
- Understand how to evaluate mind-body
constitution (prakruti) and imbalance
(vikruti).
- Learn the science of Ayurvedic history
taking.
- Learn how to design individualized
Ayurvedic treatment plans consisting of
customized natural diet plans, healing herbal and
nutritional supplements,
detoxification by the panchakarma cleansing therapy,
rasayana rejuvenation
therapy, Ayurvedic daily and seasonal routines for
disease prevention and
mind-body healing.
- Go through comprehensive theoretical
and practical training in panchakarma
detoxification therapies.
- Understand how to integrate Ayurvedic
principles and practices in various
physical, mental and psychological plans with the
help of audio and video aids,
apart from participation in experiential exercises.

PART I: PRINCIPLES OF AYURVEDA -

Tattvas, Samkhya, the Five Elements .
- The Three Gunas, Karma, Goals of
Life, Basic Principles of Ayurvedic Thought.
- Ayurvedic Anatomy and Physiology

and Kapha - elements, qualities actions,
sites, and aggravation.
- Five subtypes of Vata, Pitta and
Kapha (subdoshas).
- Prana, Tejas and Ojas, the Three

interrelationship, excess and deficiency states

- The Seven Kalas.
- The Three Waste Materials and their
conditions.
- Agni (digestive fire) and its four
